Joe Caples is a homegrown missionary to the Sacramento area, the Executive Director of Forge Sacramento, a professor at Epic Bible College and Graduate School in Sacramento, and coauthor with his wife, Sarah, of Bless Like Jesus: Stop Trying to Convert and Simply Show People They Matter. In 2012, Joe & Sarah moved to the Midtown area of Sacramento with a plan to start a new church. But, once they got there, they quickly realized there was a greater need for Christians who would simply be good neighbors. They transitioned from calling themselves church planters to seeing their role more as that of missionaries in their city. They focus most of their time being present in the city God has placed them: in restaurants, bars, cafes, and schools throughout their city nurturing wonderful relationships with their neighbors. Connect more with Joe at joeandsarahcaples.com, forgesacramento.com, vintagemidtown.com.

Jeremiah Aja

As a graduate of William Jessup University and Asbury Seminary, Jeremiah has a passion for storytelling and creatively expressing the ways of Jesus. Whether it is speaking to large groups of people, or having a cup of coffee with you, he is consumed with God's in-breaking Kingdom and the invitation to everyone to participate in God's mission.

Jeremiah is the Founder of Forge Sacramento, launched in 2013, and was a part of the Forge America national team until 2015.

Happily married to Lindsay for over 15 years, their home is Sacramento, CA, where they have two beautiful girls, Annabella (9) and Lucy (4). Currently, Jeremiah is in the process acquiring his clinical hours to become a licensed therapist. You can learn more at wellnesstogether.org/jeremiah.

Sharon Bollum

"Raised by parents who were atheists, called by God at a very young age, Sharon Bollum has a unique relationship with The Church. After serving 15 years in ministry she came to believe that The Church at large had lost its direction and its influence; not only in the world but in the lives of its members as well. "We should be known as the most humble, loving, honest, forgiving and generous people on earth. Sadly we're more often perceived as the most judgmental, hypocritical, hateful group of all. This is a condition we all need to take seriously."

Seeking answers, Sharon set out to study the patterns and practices that have led to the poor reputation of the Christian Community in the United States. Believing that our reputation has become the greatest obstacle to evangelism, she endeavors to start a national movement that will lead to change. Sharon is currently producing the documentary, 40 Churches in 40 Weeks TM and writing a book about what she discovered through interviewing hundreds of church leaders and members all across the United States." Find out more at 40churchesin40weeks.com

Mark Dahlin

Mark Dahlin is the Pastor of Living Hope church in Roseville, CA, and adjunct professor of Biblical Studies at Epic Bible College and Graduate School in Sacramento. As a certified Trainer of Trainers and representative for the National Institute of Youth Ministry, Mark has been Plenary Speaker for Foursquare Youth and Christian Education. He had led thousands of teens across the border for cross-cultural missions, and is yet, thoroughly convinced that God has brought the mission field right next door. He is no new comer to the missional movement and has been living this with his family for 25 years.

He has been married to an avid artist, Kerry Dahlin for 35 years and has four adult children who think he is more amazing than drywall screws. Millie Bishop, one of his biggest fans, thinks he "walks on water" (she'll tell you). Mark thinks that's a slight exaggeration, but he does like to get out on the water and wakeboard.

Mark has the gift of storytelling, and 100,000 people in more than 140 countries have read his blog about his magically dysfunctional childhood in Venice. He can be reached at markdahlin@yahoo.com

Brandon Naramore

Since the Rock of Roseville's Discipleship Pastor, Brandon Naramore's, radical encounter with Jesus at the age of 17, he has been in ministry at the Rock ever since. For the past 13 years Brandon has been disicpling and developing young leaders. With a focus of balancing practical theology and living life inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Rock has seen hundreds of students become passionate disciples of Jesus.

Brandon and his wife Rachel (the most beautiful export from the UK ) have three children and love having spontaneous dance parties in the living room. A self professed leadership book junkie, when Brandon isn’t buried in business books you’ll find him in the kitchen working on his chef skills for the next food network star. That, or watching documentaries, which his wife falls asleep to.

Rev. Lamar Pringle

Rev. Lamar J Pringle was born in Massillon Ohio, graduating with a Bachelors in Education from Purdue & Tiffin Universities. As well as earning a Masters in Urban Studies (and emphasis on Theology) from Eastern University. He has been married to LaQisha Pringle of Lincoln Nebraska, for 17 years this July. Together they have 3 daughters: Nesya, 15, Imri, 13, and Gianna, 4 going on 18.

Rev. Lamar Pringle has served in many roles in ministry including serving as the Youth and Young Adult Pastor at the Salem Baptist Church of Omaha Nebraska. Most recently, he became the 29th Senior Pastor of The First Baptist Church of Sacramento, the oldest Baptist church in the city. Concurrently Rev. Lamar Pringle is the first African American Pastor that First Baptist Church has ever elected. With a deep passion for diversity Rev. Pringle grew up reading the scriptures in Hebrew and loves to bring to life the "living word" of God in fun, innovative and original ways.
